When we first stepped inside this beautiful old bank in 2021, we fell in love with its history, character and potential. We’re carefully restoring the building, bringing its heritage back to life while creating a welcoming space to share great wine and good company.

Today, The Bank Cellar Door is home to our two wine labels: Kennedy Vintners, founded by Gerard's parents, Pat and John Kennedy, and GKLR, the label we've built together. Together, they tell a story of two generations of winemaking, one family story, and a shared love of the Heathcote region.

Step into the former teller room for a tasting, settle in beside the open fire, explore the old bank manager's office, and peek inside the original bank safe — now filled with wine instead of money.

This historic building has welcomed generations of locals and visitors since the Gold Rush era. As its custodians, we're honoured to help preserve its story while creating new memories within its walls.
